During the ceremony, the certificate for recent accomplishments in the global marketplace was given to the non profit Global Advanced-Leadership Center . It is the first non-manufacturing organization ever to receive this recognition.

The certificate is in recognition of the efforts and activities of the Global Advanced-Leadership Center to promote global activities for small and medium sized businesses.

One of the goals of the Global Advanced-Leadership Center is assisting small and medium sized businesses by providing opportunities for improved communications, training, research and networking.
