Jim Blankenship
Leadership & Manufacturing Specialist

Jim has over 37 years of manufacturing experience that includes 20 years in various executive management positions and Chief Operating Officer. At B. F. Goodrich, Jim was Technical Director of the Industrial Products Division, responsible for multiple product lines and five plants (union and non-union) in the southeastern USA.

He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in executive management principles and strategic planning that includes: Team Management, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (KAIZEN), “Just in Time” inventory management, Management Information Systems, Effective Cash Management, HR and payroll incentive systems, Total Quality Management, QS9000, Quality Circles, and People Motivation. Through his experience and knowledge acquired from U.S. and Japanese companies, he realizes that the employee is the most important asset of any company and through effective leadership must be continuously developed and empowered in the organizational structure to maximize bottom line improvements. He graduated from the University of Akron with a BS degree in mathematics and minors in physics and engineering.
