William A. Parsons, Jr.
Managing Director
William
A. Parsons, Jr. is Chair of the Global Automotive Conference, Managing
Director of the Global Advanced-Leadership Center and a Executive
Professor in the Gordon Ford College of Business. Over the past seven
years at Western Kentucky University, he helped found the annual Global
Automotive Conference, organize training and leadership workshops and
seminars on NAFTA, China, Mexico, Paraguay, Japan, Kaizen and other
practical programs for business, industry, community, students and
Faculty as well as led trade missions to Mexico.
Currently he serves
as Chair of the Kentucky International Trade Education Committee
of the US Department of Commerce, member of the Kentucky World Trade
Center Advisory Council, member of National Association of International
Trade Educators, Kentucky World Trade Center Advisory Board, Japan
America Society of Kentucky and serves a speaker/consultant to business
and industry. He serves as a member on several not for profit boards
that focus on family values, international education and helping others.
In over 20 years in business, as a senior business leader he has
worked and or lived in over 42 different countries dealing in sales,
marketing, negotiations, strategic alliances and new business creation
with expertise in Japan, Asia, South America and Europe.
